2G Engineering designs and manufactures advanced subsea systems, and we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team. In this role, you’ll guide the design, development, and validation of products across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software disciplines — ensuring high-quality execution, engineering excellence, and alignment with AS9100 and Quality Management System standards.

What You’ll Do
As Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead and coordinate product design, development, and validation activities

• Drive execution of engineering milestones and the product development roadmap

• Facilitate design reviews and ensure accurate documentation and BOMs

• Maintain compliance with AS9100 standards and engineering quality requirements

• Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures, and best practices

• Allocate resources, set priorities, and guide day-to-day technical work

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development support

• Conduct performance reviews and support hiring and onboarding

• Address performance challenges constructively and consistently

• Oversee training programs related to product development and engineering controls

• Support Sales by estimating engineering labor for quotes and creating technical collateral

• Lead verification and validation planning, including test strategies and fixtures

• Represent engineering in customer meetings and technical discussions

• Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency initiatives

• Maintain engineering documentation, configuration control, and traceability

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent

• Hands-on experience with a Product Data Management system

• 4+ years of experience managing technical staff

• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Experience presenting technical information to customers and leadership teams

• Strong troubleshooting ability and comfort with complex engineering problems

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Programmer to take a lead role in embedded firmware development and product architecture, driving innovation, technical strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:

• Lead firmware development efforts in C, including architecture and implementation strategy

• Mentor engineers and guide debugging, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions

• Support schematic capture and PCB design direction (hands-on experience strongly preferred)

• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define requirements and assess risks

• Drive design efforts including calculations, component selection, and cost estimation

• Produce and review reports, documentation, and engineering deliverables

• Develop test strategies, regression methods, and system-level validation plans

• Support and evolve existing product lines through updates and change control

• Lead data collection, analysis, and continuous improvement efforts

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field

• 5+ years embedded programming experience (C, microcontrollers, microprocessors)

• Strong understanding of microprocessors, ICs, lab diagnostics, and hardware/software fundamentals

• Experience supporting or owning a product line throughout its lifecycle

• Demonstrated leadership in technical tasks, features, or project components

Bonus Strengths

• Proficiency in Python and UNIX-based systems

• Experience with RTOS

• Motor drive or electromechanical control experience

• Ability to forecast engineering effort, risks, and resource needs

• Exceptional troubleshooting, system analysis, and documentation skills

• Build, test, and inspect prototype and production parts

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)

• 2–4 years of related experience preferred

• Strong SolidWorks or equivalent CAD experience

• Experience with inspection tools and mechanical testing equipment

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle shifting priorities

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment

• PDM experience

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment
